When and where is the Midland County Fair?

The Midland County Fair takes place at the Midland County Horseshoe from Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23.

The address for the Horseshoe is 2514 Arena Trail, Midland, TX 79701.

How much are tickets to the Fair?

Advance tickets are $5-$12/day. Kids 6 and under are admitted free. Click HERE to grab advance tickets.

Are all Fair attractions included with Fair admission?

While most attractions within the Fair are free and included with admission, some attractions do charge separately.

The carnival is inside the Fair grounds and separately ticketed from Fair. The carnival sells individual ride tickets as well as unlimited ride armbands for the day. Unlimited ride armbands will be discounted $10 on Thursday and are otherwise $40/day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

What are the Fair hours?

Fair hours are Thursday & Friday 5-10 PM. Saturday 10 AM-10 PM. Sunday 12 noon – 10 PM. The carnival stays open on until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday nights.

Is the Fair family-friendly?

Yes! We have a Fun Zone with arts and crafts, games, a Ninja House and remote control cars. There will also be a kids construction zone and Rodeo 101 station where kids can learn about all things rodeo, as well as kids contests such as stick horses races and more.

Additionally, kids 6 and under are admitted free.

Can I bring food and drinks into the Fair?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted, but we have a wide variety of food trucks offering delicious options. We will also have concessions with a bar available.

Are coolers allowed?

No, outside coolers are not allowed.

What is the bag policy?

Clear bags are preferred, and the Fair reserves the right to search all bags upon entry.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, but they are subject to search upon entry.

Can I bring my own chair?

No, the Midland County Horseshoe does not permit chairs to be brought into the facility. There is, however, ample seating in the Main Arena for the bull rides and rodeo related attractions.

Is parking available at the Fair?

Yes, parking is available free of charge at the Midland County Horseshoe on a first come, first park basis.

Are pets allowed at the Fair?

The Fair allows leashed domestic animals only, except during the Pet Parade, which will be held on Saturday inside the Pavilion. There will also be a Pet Porch set up on Saturday where pets can be adopted.

What attractions can I expect at the Fair?

The Fair will host staple attractions like the carnival, bull rides, concerts, a petting zoo, stock shows, indoor vendor marketplace, food truck court, a fun zone, fashion show, pie baking competition, creative arts and more!

Is the Fair accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the Midland County Horseshoe has handicapped parking as well as handicapped accessible facilities.

What safety measures are in place at the Fair?

The safety of our patrons is our top priority. We have security personnel and EMTs on-site, a first aid station and all attractions are inspected for safety compliance.

Can I volunteer at the Fair?

Are there any onsite RV spaces available?

RV spaces must be rented and reserved during business hours only, Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM by calling the Horseshoe directly at 432-682-1300.
